Travel back in time with a trip to Jeongdong to experience the first evidences of modernization in Seoul when Joseon Dynasty started opening it’s doors to the Western countries. The area begins with a peaceful stroll along Deoksugung Stone-Wall road and slowly greeted by old neoclassical style and colonial architecture buildings. We can even take you to a cafe to see the aerial view of Jeongdong and City Hall! Despite being in the center of the city, Jeongdong remains a favorite place for many Seoulites as it is hidden away from the sound of heavy traffic and the sight of skyscrapers. The tour ends at Cheongye stream with dozens of bridges and small waterfalls.
City Hall Station, Seoul Subway line 1 and Exit 2
There are other places that we do not reveal on our illustrated map & our slide show as we want to keep it under ARTEE’s hidden places! So, book a tour with us and we’ll show you around!
